Beginner classes include:

• braceo: arm movements
• taconeo: footwork patterns
• marcaje: marking patterns
• palmas: hand-clapping
• vueltas:
turns
• choreography

 

 

Level II classes include all of the basic elements in flamenco from the "New Beginner" class, with more progressive footwork patterns, turns and choreography. Level II is for beginners looking to advance their studies.

 

 

Intermediate/Advanced classes are geared towards students with interest in performing. Thursday night classes in San Francisco focus on performance technique for stage and performance choreography. Prior flamenco training is required.

** This LEVEL 2 class will help dancers who have basic beginning skills and wish to progress to the next level. Emphasis will be on increasing footwork skills, including speed and complexity; improving movement coordination and working with short choreographies.
